The text is part of a larger poetic cycle by Etel and published here for the first time.
It is composed by nine short but intense stanzas English translated into French and German in this book – alternating with sections of an drawing by Johannes Strugalla. The entire was translated into a woodcut which is part of the book.
A second section has been added to the book, celebrating Etel Adnan’s 90th birthday with “Landscape Meditations”, text by Ulrike Stoltz, and “Place Saint-Sulpice”, poem by Johannes Strugalla.
